TEDxNairobi is one of 2500+ local TED affiliates across the globe. We are a 100% volunteer-led organization.
Originally operating under the name TEDxKitisuru, we successfully produced our first sold-out event in September 2024. Following the approval of our new license, we have rebranded as TEDxNairobi , a move that now empowers us to organize the largest TEDx event in Nairobi, in Kenya, and potentially across the region.
Under the theme “The Power of the Future,” we’ll feature 12 dynamic speakers who will explore bold ideas, breakthrough innovations, and the possibilities that lie ahead. From science and social impact to creativity and resilience, each talk is designed to spark reflection, action, and hope.
Nairobi is a city in motion, constantly evolving, innovating, and redefining itself. As waves of new ideas, technologies, and cultural exchanges shape its landscape, the city stands as a beacon of transformation. Change is already happening, and an even greater future awaits.
